3 Reasons to keep the Standards High

Keeping high standards

– is closely linked to a woman’s sense of self-worth and self-esteem. When we have a clear idea of what we expect and deserve in different areas of our lives, it sends a powerful message to the world that we value ourselves and demand respect.

When we hold ourselves to high standards, we are less likely to settle for less than we deserve. This means that we are more likely to attract healthy and fulfilling relationships, career opportunities, and experiences that align with our values and goals.

On the other hand, when we don’t have clear standards or are willing to compromise them, we may find ourselves in situations where we feel undervalued, disrespected, or unfulfilled. This can lead to a negative impact on our self-esteem and overall well-being.

By asking ourselves questions

like “What are my standards?” and “How do I want to be treated?”, we are taking an active role in defining our own worth and communicating it to others. This can lead to greater self-awareness, self-respect, and ultimately, greater happiness and fulfillment in our lives.

3. Reasons why setting high standards is important:
  1. Greater self-respect: When we set high standards for ourselves, we are demonstrating that we value and respect ourselves. This sends a clear message to others that we expect to be treated with the same level of respect and dignity.

  2. Better relationships: By setting high standards in our relationships, we are more likely to attract and maintain healthy and fulfilling connections with others. We are less likely to tolerate behaviors that do not align with our values, which can lead to greater satisfaction and happiness in our relationships.

  3. Greater success and achievement: When we set high standards for ourselves in our careers and personal lives, we are more likely to achieve our goals and experience greater success. By prioritizing our values and goals, we are more likely to make choices and take actions that move us in the direction of our dreams.
