Shaun has been involved in the healing arts for over 25 years, having first been exposed to Taichi and Qigong at an early age through his martial arts training. His yoga journey began in 1996 which led him to become initiated into the Kundalini Maha Yoga tradition, eventually leading to his 200 hour YTT . Coaching others in personal development and empowerment through a unique blend of yoga , Qigong, martial arts and meditation.

Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is a gentle, low-impact movement practice and the foundation of Tai Chi. This Qigong class at Mindful Way Studio in Mokena combines slow, flowing movements, breath awareness, and mindful posture to support nervous system regulation, energy flow, and overall well-being.

Often called meditation in motion, Qigong helps reduce stress, increase vitality, improve mobility, and restore a sense of calm and balance. Movements are soft, accessible, and adaptable—making this an ideal gentle movement class for beginners, those seeking recovery, or anyone wanting a more mindful approach to movement.
